Baildon Farmers Market

Visited the farmers market this morning, as always an exciting mix of great value traditional fruit and veg, and more expensive (but top quality) artisan products.

The chilli and garlic stall sells everything from garlic for eating and growing, chilli plants and loose chillies, and products made with both. The fruit and veg stand is run by two local farmers and supplies great value top quality produce.

I bought a loaf of artisan sourdough bread, made by a local bread co-operative group – not cheap but extremely good quality, nice for a treat!

Bought some interesting sausages and two wild ducks, however the only things there was enough of left to photograph was the partridges!

MA008-152Also bought some fresh free range eggs – as always, looked at the duck eggs and thought ‘one day….I must buy some!’ No idea what to do with them however!

And finally as always, spent a small fortune on cheese!
